The Factor Structure of Kindergarten Principal’s Practical Intelligence and Its Correlation with Individual Performance Author:Hsing-Ming Lee, Mi-Tao Chen
Research Article
The main purposes of this study were to explore the factor structure of kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence and its correlation with individual performance. The data was collected through questionnaires from a sample of 462 kindergarten principals in southern Taiwan. All collected empirical data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The important findings were as follows: (1) The fit of one-first-order factor and three-second-order factor models for kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence was acceptable; (2) There was a significant association between the kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence and individual performance. Finally, the researcher discussed the findings and provided some suggestions for future research.
